Option 2: Self-Integration

To add x402 payments to your own API, your server needs to:

Return 402 with payment requirements when no payment header is present
Verify payments by calling the facilitator's /verify endpoint
Settle payments by calling the facilitator's /settle endpoint
Return data after successful settlement
