Grok Bot setup

Grok Bot uses this authorization-first hosted address:

https://open.dexter.cash/mcp/vault

Add the plugin

  1. Open Grok Bot on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your avatar in the upper-left corner and open Plugins.
  3. Add OpenDexter with the hosted address above.
  4. When Grok Bot shows Authorize or Authenticate, open it and approve the connection with your Dexter passkey in the browser.
  5. Return to Grok Bot and confirm OpenDexter appears under Installed.

You can also give the address to a Bot and ask it to add OpenDexter. The installed entry belongs to the Grok Bot account you used to sign in.

Connect your Dexter Wallet

Send this message in a fresh conversation:

Connect OpenDexter to my Dexter Wallet, then show me the wallet that is connected.

OpenDexter routes that request to x402_wallet. A successful response identifies the bound Dexter Wallet. That wallet response is the setup proof.

If authorization is waiting

If Grok Bot shows Waiting for authorization, choose Reopen to return to the browser. Finish the passkey step, then return to the conversation.

If the plugin says Connected but no authorization appeared, open the OpenDexter plugin entry and reconnect it with the /mcp/vault address. Finish authorization, then retry the wallet request.

Verify without spending

After the wallet response succeeds, ask:

Use OpenDexter to show my wallet and portfolio. Do not prepare or execute a payment, transfer, purchase, sale, or other asset action.

This confirms the passkey-bound reads while keeping the test free of spending actions.

Grok Bot documents its plugin flow at Connect plugins.
