Grok Bot Setup
Add OpenDexter to Grok Bot on iPhone with this address:
Add the Plugin
- Tap your avatar in the upper-left corner of Grok Bot and open Plugins.
- Add OpenDexter with the address above.
- Check that it appears under Installed, then start a conversation.
The plugin belongs to the Grok Bot account you used to sign in.
Search for a Service
Find a weather API.
Public search works before you connect your Dexter account. Results returned through OpenDexter confirm that the plugin is available.
Authorize Account Access
Connect my Dexter account and show me which account is connected.
Open Authorize or Authenticate, approve the connection with your Dexter passkey in the browser, and return to Grok Bot. The response should identify your connected account.
To view your holdings, ask:
Show my Dexter account balance and holdings.
The account's spending permissions apply to paid requests. You can review or disconnect the agent under Agents in Dexter Wallet.
Continue with Buy a Service for a paid task, or choose a job from Tasks and Examples.
Resume Authorization
If Grok Bot shows Waiting for authorization, choose Reopen, finish the browser approval, and return to the conversation.
If the plugin says Connected but an account request produces no authorization, ask to connect your Dexter account. If Grok Bot offers a reconnect action in the plugin entry, reconnect and retry the account check.
To replace an older installation, remove its plugin entry, add the hosted address again, and start a new conversation.
