Grok Bot setup
Grok Bot uses hosted OpenDexter at:
Add the plugin
- Open Grok Bot on your iPhone.
- Tap your avatar in the upper-left corner and open Plugins.
- Add OpenDexter with the hosted address above.
- Confirm OpenDexter appears under Installed.
You can also give the address to a Bot and ask it to add OpenDexter. The installed entry belongs to the Grok Bot account you used to sign in.
Search without Dexter sign-in
Send this message in a fresh conversation:
Public search uses guest access. It does not require a Dexter Wallet or passkey.
Authorize wallet and account requests
Wallet, portfolio, payment, buy, sell, send, and history requests use Dexter authorization. The first protected request opens the authorization flow; public search remains available before that step.

OpenDexter routes that request to x402_wallet. Grok Bot should show Authorize or Authenticate. Open it, approve the connection with your Dexter passkey in the browser, and return to Grok Bot.
The wallet request should resume. A successful response identifies the bound Dexter Wallet. The same authorization applies when Grok Bot uses OpenDexter for portfolio, payment, buy, sell, send, or history requests.
If authorization is waiting
If Grok Bot shows Waiting for authorization, choose Reopen to return to the browser. Finish the passkey step, then return to the conversation.
If the plugin says Connected but no authorization appears after a protected request, ask for the request again. The plugin connection and Dexter authorization are separate. Open the OpenDexter plugin entry, reconnect it if Grok Bot offers that action, and retry.
