Tabs
A Tab lets an agent make repeated purchases from one seller within a spending cap and time limit you approve. It is useful when a task needs several paid requests, such as researching a subject across many searches or using a metered service.
Your Dexter Account holds the money and records the activity. The agent receives permission to spend within the Tab's terms. You keep control of that permission in Dexter Wallet.
Approve a Tab
When an app requests a Tab, Dexter shows the seller and proposed spending terms. Review the cap and expiry, adjust the available limits, and approve with your passkey. The agent can then make purchases under that approval while the Tab is active.
The cap is the most the Tab authorizes over its lifetime. A revolving capacity, when shown, limits how much can be outstanding at once. For example, a $10 cap allows up to $10 of purchases before another approval is needed.
Check Spending and Stop Access
Open Agents in Dexter Wallet and find Open Tabs. Each Tab shows the amount spent, cap, and expiry. Use its revocation control to stop further use. Payments already authorized remain part of the account's activity and may still need to settle.
Open Activity to review individual payments and their receipts. The wallet's Agent spending control applies across connected agents; each Tab also has its own limits.
Add Tabs to Your App
