Credit

Credit lets your Dexter account fund eligible purchases with money it must repay. The account owner is responsible for the borrowing, including purchases made by an authorized agent. Changing agents or disconnecting a client preserves that obligation.

In Money, Available cash shows money ready to use from your account. Available credit is the unused capacity of an open credit line, shown separately from cash and owned assets. Adding money increases your cash balance; accepting credit terms establishes the agreement for later borrowing.

Verify Your Personhood

Dexter uses World ID to connect a unique person's verification to their Wallet for credit. Activate your Wallet, then open You and follow Verify with World App. If Finish setup appears afterward, complete that step with your passkey.

Verification and a credit offer are separate steps. Money shows your account's available line and any terms that need acceptance.

Review Your Credit Status

Sign in to Dexter Wallet with the account that will use the credit. Complete any Wallet activation step, then open Money.

If the credit invitation appears, choose Turn on your credit and approve the request with your passkey. Dexter checks the account and confirms the Starter Line before requesting the lender's offer.

The invitation then shows the next action:

  • Check for your offer means the line is confirmed and the lender's terms are still pending. Use it to refresh the offer status.
  • When Review credit terms appears, open it to see the exact offer for this Wallet.

Review and Accept the Offer

Check the offered capacity against the amount you need and read the Line rate and Separate fees. The agreement governs eligible purchases funded through that line.

Repayment and recourse shows when payment is due after each draw, the recovery window, and what the lender may recover if repayment is missed. Expand Read exact recourse terms for the full terms. Parties and authority identifies the financier, lender of record, legal owner, servicer, and collection controller. Check the acceptance deadline too.

Choose Accept terms with passkey to record your agreement, or Not now to leave it unaccepted. Acceptance records the terms; borrowing happens when an eligible purchase uses the line.

After approval, the confirmation shows an Acceptance receipt. Keep that reference, then choose Open Wallet or Close and continue.

Follow Purchases and Repayment

Use Activity to inspect a purchase's amount, status, and transaction references. See Assets and Activity for reading a receipt. The Available credit figure shows capacity; the repayment timing and obligations come from the accepted agreement.

Keep the offer's repayment terms and servicer details available. The current Wallet interface provides credit setup and purchase activity, but no dedicated repayment statement or Repay control. For instructions on an outstanding repayment, contact the servicer named in your agreement.

When a Review Stops

An expired or replaced offer needs a current offer. Return to Money and review its credit status. If the page says Acceptance result not confirmed, use Check the same enrollment to recover that result before attempting acceptance again.
